Lake Glenville, NC.
This custom Insular Log home, using the Grand Vista floor plan of 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 bath with a cathedral ceiling in the great room, was built overlooking Lake Glenville near Cashiers, NC. This location provided us with a challenge. The building site was very steep and the access road is very narrow. A track hoe was transported by barge across the lake to tackle the site work. The home also has a walk out basement and two decks, one on each level. An indoor/outdoor fireplace that can be enjoyed from either the Great room or the adjacent covered porch. Lake Nottely Home Union county Georgia. This is a custom designed Grand Villa floor plan. Built with the Insular Log system it is a 5 bedroom 3 ½ bath and a fully finished basement (will send picture). As our homes have always been custom designed, they have also included the homeowner’s ideas and appointments, which in many cases are somewhat unique. The basement is finished in red oak timbered from the building site and includes a unique corrugated galvalume ceiling. Because of the slope of the building site it was necessary to build a retaining wall that reached a height of 23 feet.
