Joe has been in the construction industry for the past 23 years. From the time Joe was a young man growing up in Michigan helping his father in construction on the job training has been his best teacher. Joe Later moved to Fort Myers Florida and then to Naples while performing duties as a Job Foreman in Commercial as well as Residential projects. For the past ten years Joe has owned his own Business Know as Interior Improvements of Naples and most recently Interior Improvements of Blairsville. While working for Prestige Builders for the past 4 years as a sub-contractor their relationship has grown as Gus and Doug have learned they could totally depend on Joe and his workmanship, dependability and forethought to do what it takes to complete a project.
Beginning January 2010 Prestige Builders is proud to announce transfer of ownership to Joseph Janicki. Founding owners Gus Grader and Doug Dowdy are still involved with daily operations as their expertise is what has made Prestige Builders the successful business it is today.

Gus Grader
Gus is responsible for Administration, Sales and Marketing. He is a fully licensed residential builder in the state of Georgia. He brings from his background in industry his experience in Management and Marketing.
Gus was instrumental in forming the Corporation; startup was in September 2001. Gus had retired from the telecommunications industry, where he had an extensive background in electronic sales and marketing. He and the other members of the Prestige team were successful in developing and satisfying a need for a qualified builder of log homes in the Appalachian Mountain areas of Georgia, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina. Doug Dowdy
Doug is the a Designer and Engineer. Doug has more than 30 years experience in building design and Construction, both in commercial and residential. Doug is a registered professional engineer in Georgia and Florida. He is also a state licensed commercial contractor in Georgia and Florida.
Doug was born and educated in Roanoke, Virginia. He has a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Georgia and Florida. He also is a founding partner of Prestige Log Builders. He has been a full-time resident of Blairsville, GA, for 4 years following 33 years in Florida.
